The work for this contract comprises the development of water supply system to feed BARZAN area, consisting of 51 villages, with potable water, with a total design flow of 1,200m3/hour. The WORKSITE is located in Mergasur District of Erbil Governorate in Kurdistan Region in Iraq. The raw water source of the project will be the Galy Balinda River, as suggested by the Mergasur District Governor and the Water Works Directorate of Barzan Area. Water intake pump station, water treatment plant and several pumping stations are designed under the scope of this project. Also mechanical designs of all social and industrial facilities in the treatment plant compound are made.

Also an intake structure and conveyance pipe line is designed toward CPS.
